What is the cost of the tour?

The cost is $55 per rider (plus tax).

What is the length of the tour?

The tour including training lasts approximately 2 hours.

Do I need a reservation for the tour?

Yes, a reservation is required. Please reserve your tour online using the "Make Reservations" tab or contact us at 614-222-3005.

How many riders are there on each tour?

The maximum number of riders per tour is eight.

What if I want to reserve a tour for only one person?

We require a minimum of two riders per tour. Check the online calendar to find a tour with other riders, or call us for assistance to find a tour.

When do I pay for the tour?

A credit card is required to secure/guarantee your reservation, however the card will not be charged at the time of your booking. The full amount due will be collected at the time of the tour.

What time should I arrive for the tour?

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.

Are there any requirements to ride a Segway on the tour?

- Must weigh between 100-260 lbs.
- Must be capable of walking up a flight of stairs unassisted and with out using a handrail
- Must be at least 14 years of age (parent or guardian must sign “Release of Liability Waiver” for minors to ride)
- Must complete the instructional training session prior to the tour
- Must wear a helmet which will be provided
- MUST want to have fun!

I have never ridden a Segway. Is it difficult to ride a Segway?

Training is provided prior to the tour. To move forward or backward on the Segway, the rider leans slightly forward or backward. To turn left or right, the rider simply moves the LeanSteer frame left or right. You get the sense of power and speed, yet you also feel a sense of safety and absolute control. It all feels natural, safe, and instinctive.

How do I hear the tour guide?

We use a wireless sound system so that all riders can hear the tour guide. Speakers are built into the helmets provided by SegAway tours.

What type of shoes should I wear?

Wear tennis shoes or other comfortable flat sole, closed toe shoes. Shoes with heels, "shape up" shoes and "flip flops" are not recommended.

What happens if I am not able to ride a Segway?

After the training, if you feel that you are not able to ride a Segway, you will receive a refund for the full cost of the tour. No refunds will be given once the tour departs from the training area.

What happens in case it rains?

We will not tour in a heavy rain. We are able to tour in a light rain. We ask that you dress appropriately for the day's weather conditions, but we do have rain ponchos available. You will not be charged if the tour is canceled due to poor weather conditions.

What is the cancellation policy?

All reservations must be canceled more than 72 hours ahead of your scheduled tour time or you will be charged for the full amount of the tour on your credit/debit card.

Is the tour fun?

OMG! It is so much fun! It is not uncommon for riders to weep with joy!
